Where is HIYC located?

The purpose of our club is to promote sailing in all its branches; to help promote a code of ethics and safety for the waterways; to provide instruction in boat handling and seamanship; to form a social and activity nucleus for individuals and their families interested in yachting; to develop an active relationship with other sailing organizations; and to foster the Corinthian spirit of good fellowship.

No. Several of our members are not boat owners (they just like to sail). There are always members who can use an experienced crew member, and members who are willing to help new sailors.

If you want to learn more about HIYC before joining, contact any of our Officer's & Contacts. They are happy to invite prospective new members with an interest in sailing to attend a HIYC function as their guest. If you already know a HIYC member, you may also contact them.
